About Us:

At Copper & Willow Electric, we believe great work starts with great relationships. We’re more than just electricians—we’re your neighbors, your partners, and a family-owned business committed to doing right by the people we serve. Whether it’s wiring a new home, upgrading a commercial space, or mentoring the next generation of electricians, we bring a deep sense of pride, integrity, and craftsmanship to every job.

Meet James:

Master Electrician—Decades of Experience

James began his career with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 6 in San Francisco, where he spent over 25 years working on some of the most complex and high-profile industrial and infrastructure electrical projects in California. His portfolio includes multi-billion-dollar developments such as the Eastern Span Replacement of the San Francisco–Oakland Bay Bridge and the Chase Center, as well as BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) expansions and landmark buildings like the Transamerica fPyramid. These experiences placed him at the forefront of emerging technology and sustainable energy systems.

In addition to large-scale infrastructure, James has extensive experience working in sensitive, high-security environments, including banks, hospitals, schools, and government facilities. These projects demanded the highest levels of precision, discretion, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards—skills James brings to every job.

Beyond commercial and industrial work, James has provided complete residential wiring solutions for new builds, remodels, and renovations—always with the same commitment to safety, reliability, and quality craftsmanship. From service upgrades to smart home systems, he helps families bring their vision to life with expertise they can trust.

Now leading Copper & Willow Electric, James is building on this foundation of experience to serve North Texas communities. With James at the helm and a team of union-trained electricians by his side, Copper & Willow delivers on its promise: Experience You Can Trust.

Why We Moved to Texas

In our search for a safer, more secure future for our family, we made the decision to move from California to Texas. The goal was simple: to give our two sons the best opportunities for success and growth.

Since arriving in North Texas, we’ve truly loved getting to know the community and have been incredibly grateful for the warm welcome we’ve received. The friendships we’re building here have made this transition not just worthwhile but deeply rewarding.

We’re proud to call Texas home and feel truly lucky to be growing our business in a place where people look out for one another. It means a lot to us to be part of a community that values connection, hard work, and a handshake you can trust.
