About Us
At Copper & Willow Electric, we believe great work starts with strong relationships. As a woman-owned, family-run business based in Denton, we take pride in serving our North Texas neighbors with clear communication, careful planning, and respect for the people and places where we work.
Meet James
Master Electrician | Director of Field Operations
James began his career with IBEW Local 6 in San Francisco, building more than 25 years of experience across commercial, industrial, and infrastructure electrical work. His experience includes work on the eastern span replacement of the San Francisco–Oakland Bay Bridge, Chase Center, BART expansions, and the Transamerica Pyramid.
He has also worked in banks, hospitals, schools, and government facilities, where safety, careful coordination, and respect for ongoing operations are essential.
At Copper & Willow Electric, James leads field operations with an approach shaped by decades on demanding job sites: plan carefully, anticipate challenges, and communicate consistently. He works collaboratively with customers, tenants, general contractors, and fellow trades to coordinate schedules, minimize disruption, and resolve issues early.
Safety is central to that approach. James leads by example, setting clear expectations for preparation, safe work practices, and quality craftsmanship. Projects under his supervision have been completed without OSHA citations or recordable workplace injuries—a record that reflects his attention to detail and commitment to protecting the people around him.
James also values mentoring the next generation of electricians. He shares both technical knowledge and the professional habits that build trust: asking questions, respecting others, taking responsibility, and following through on commitments. He brings these principles to every North Texas project and to the team he leads.
